Tracy
Tracy hated her teeth. They were discolored, uneven and she had an unusual geminated lateral on the left side. Her gum line didn’t look good and was very red and swollen. At her grandmothers suggestion she came to see Dr. Sousa to see what he could do.

Tanya came to our office after completing orthodontic treatment. After getting her braces off she noticed that her gumline was low and she didn’t like the look of her smile. She came to Dr. Sousa to ask what could be done. We evaluated her situation and determined that her gumline migrated down during the course of her orthodontic treatment but that there was plenty of beautiful tooth structure just waiting to be exposed.

We mapped out her gum line and in a short, minimally invasive procedure exposed the tooth that was underneath giving her the bold beautiful smile that she was hoping for.
Rosemary
Rosemary came to our office because she did not like the esthetic results of the reconstruction she had done for her several years earlier. In addition the veneers on the two front teeth had popped off several times, and she was concerned that they could come off again at any minute.
After thoroughly evaluating her situation we determined that she needed to replace the old crowns and veneers and also increase the height of her teeth to open her bite. Fixing he bite would not only to accommodate properly proportioned teeth, fix her TMJ problems and we could give her more room for her tongue which would improve her airway space a contributing factor to her sleep apnea issues.
The result - not only did she get a beautiful bright smile that she always wanted but her overall facial appearance improved and she now gets a much better night’s sleep.

Melissa
Melissa came to our office after seeing an area orthodontist hoping he could help her straighten out her smile. She was concerned with the crooked uneven appearance of the lower teeth and her existing porcelain veneers were showing the darkness of her roots and black lines at the edges. Her orthodontist referred her to us because he thought we could do more to help than he could.
She had porcelain veneers placed many years earlier mostly to cover her tetracycline discolored teeth. Over time the color of the roots of her underlying teeth began to show at the gumline and her veneers had developed leakage and decay at the margin. The lower teeth had obvious signs of wear and the gumline had become uneven due to the crowding and super eruption that had occurred over time.
After a complete evaluation and diagnostic consultation a plan was set. We re-contoured her uneven gumline, replaced her old upper veneers and placed 6 new lower veneers with custom micro layered e-Max ceramic.
